About

My name is Al Eardley and I am a technical architect working in the Microsoft Technology Centre in the UK (https://www.microsoft.com/mtc).

I am a passionate advocate for technology community, and am a regular speaker at events and organiser of user groups, and helper at conferences (See Community). In 2020 I was honoured to be recongised as a Microsoft Most Valued Professional (MVP), and in 2021, I handed it back as I started work at Microsoft.

I have worn many hats over the last 25 years while working as a developer, DBA, architect, project manager and consultant. It has been a long and winding path through a multituse of trends and technologies and the diversity of the posts on this blog illustrates the continuous evolution of technology and my areas of interest.

For the last half of my career, I have been focused solely on Microsoft technologies.
